Freightliner is a Country Rock cover band based out of Saskatoon SK!

 Formed in 2025, Freightliner as a group is fairly new to the scene but all of our members have been involved in the local scene, in many different ways, for many years!

In the short time together we have played many venues and have also been named the Prairie Country Music Association's Group Of the Year!

Freightliner started on a sultry summer night in June at a local hot spot for open mics in Saskatoon. Larry Lennox, Torrin Staples, Ian Mcwalter, and Brock Neilson just happened to be the only participants that arrived that night to play the open mic, what a bummer we thought! It was suggested that we should just jam out a few tunes together and see what happens. 

Shortly after we started playing people that were wandering around downtown looking for something to do started to file in to see who was playing. Two hours later, it was suggested that we should put this show on the road and see what we can do with it, and here we are!
